【摘要】:Thisguideattemptstodetailspecificareasofconcernregardingtheattachmentofgeomembranestostructures.Componentsofthegeomembraneattachmentareaddressedastothetypeanduseofeachcomponent.Althoughthisguidedoesnotaddressallaspectsofgeomembraneattachments,theuserofthisguidemaynoteimportantobjectivesanddesignissuesofeachcomponentofthegeomembrane.Alltheseobjectivesanddesignissuesmayormaynotberequiredtoobtainanappropriategeomembraneattachment.Bydescribingtheseareasofconcern,itishopedthattheuserofthisguidewillbeabletodesigngeomembraneattachments,developspecificationsorconstructgeomembraneattachments,orboth,whichfulfilltherequirementsofitsdesignintent.1.1Thisguidecoversproceduresthatcanbeemployedtomechanicallyattachfabricatedgeomembranestostructures,pipes,etc.1.2Thisguidedoesnotaddressallproblemsorsituationsageomembraneinstallerordesignengineermayfaceintheattachmentofgeomembranestostructures,pipes,etc.Thesolepurposeofthisstandardguideistopointouttypicalproblemswithgeomembraneattachmentsandclearlystateobjectivesofeachcomponentofthegeomembraneattachment(s).1.3Thisguidehasbeengeneratedforgeomembraneapplication(s);however,ageomembraneinstallerordesignengineer,orboth,mayfindportionsofthisguideapplicabletoothergeosynthetics.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
