【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofrelativedensitybywaterdisplacementofhardpitchesandasphaltswithsofteningpointsabove70?C.Therelativedensityofhardpitchandasphaltshallbedetermined,wheneverpossible,onhomogeneousnaturalfragmentsfreeofcracks.Theuseofcastcubesisnotrecommendedduetothedifficultyofavoidingincorporationofairbubbles.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
