【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationcoverstheperformancerequirementsandmethodsoftesttoensurethesatisfactoryperformanceoftheboosterseat.1.2Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisintendedtominimizeinjuriestochildrenresultingfromnormalusageandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseorabuseofboosterseats.Note18212;Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisnotintendedtoaddressaccidentsandinjuriesresultingfromtheinteractionofolderchildrenwithchildreninboosterseats.1.3Forpurposesofthisconsumersafetyspecification,aboosterseatisajuvenilechair,whichisplacedonanadultchairtoelevateachildtostandarddiningtableheight.Theboosterseatismadeforthepurposeofcontainingachild,upto5yearsofage,andnormallyforthepurposesoffeedingoreating.Aboosterseatmaybeheightadjustableandincludeareclinedposition.1.4Noboosterseatproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyspecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallrequirementscontainedherein.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
